As a community consultant, I have a lot of experience administrating lots of different community platforms and this is among the most innovative community products I've ever used. I've been running a community for a few months now and am loving my experience with rasa. I love its comfortable and familiar user interface, the way it can consume an RSS feed and turn it into content within the community, and how it curates personalized digests (down to a segment of one) using AI and machine learning. The back end administration areas are easy to use, and the customer service has been fantastic. Not that I've needed much help. Everything is very intuitive and easy to use.

Rasa really mashes up the best of a curated news service and an online community. Creating and curating content in a community is one of the most time-consuming parts of community management, and rasa lightens that workload by allowing the community manager to auto-create posts from an RSS feed. You can grab feeds from blogs or any other source and pipe them into your rasa community. Then AI starts to determine which stories are most relevant to which users, and sends them customized digests. The digests get more relevant as more content is consumed.

A couple things I'd suggest for improvement.

  1. It would be nice to be able to add custom widgets to the sidebar for advertising or calls to action
  2. The load time is a bit sluggish when you initially land on the community

All in all, this is a fantastic product that will only get better as it matures.
