After about 10 years working on various Communities flavors and Social Media platforms, I can confidently say that Jive provides the most compelling experience for Branded external communities. In order to foster purposeful engagement, they allow easy personalization of UX and processes. For great adoption, they provide both a simple and powerful UX, helping to onboard newcomers and to please Power Users. They have reached maturity on the platform/automation front, spanning BI, content management and APIs.
