This review is based on my association's experience with an integration between Invision's community platform and our Abila netFORUM AMS. 

In short - it doesn't work.

After spending considerable funds on getting the integration set up, we never (after trying stubbornly for 18 months) got it working acceptably. Our attempts at doing single sign-on were an abysmal failure, with our members never embracing the community at all because of the difficulty in getting it to work. It worked in some browser versions and not others. It didn't behave well when users had simple privacy setting engaged. 

Those who persevered and managed to get their community accounts set up did not like the interface. It was hard for them to find the resources for their particular committee. Adoption rate was next to nothing. 

I am not sure how much of this is limitations of Invision vs restrictions of netFORUM. At any rate, I would not recommend this combination of platforms.
