We use Google Groups to communicate with our nonprofit's consituents and board. We love it because we rarely need to train volunteers or staff how to use it, it meets all our requirements (which are: post/read by email, searchable archives, upload files, high uptime) and as a non-profit we get it for free as part of G Suite for Nonprofits.
