YM is a clunky (but affordable) AMS. They layerd social link on top but didn't update the rest of the interface for non members to match. There is very little control over the interface for admins and you can't even post hyperlinks in the Feed section. It's also very difficult to control email announcements and the Discussions and Threads section is not intuitive or user friendly. The only updside is you can create private groups limitd to specific member types but even those are useless if people log in and are confused about what to do/where to go/how to post.
