I have worked with HL across a number of associations, and each time I have found the platform comes with robust capabilities and an easy-to-use end-user interface.  Hurdles have been in transition and in getting a member base to embrace the platform - driving the eternal question of whether or not to auto-subscribe.  With that said, I have been able to use HL as my hub of member value - leaving our association website as solely focused on the larger industry/non-member community.  With information on the website, and value through the HL platform, I was able to drive users to come back time and again with new content and conversations.  The new modules that HL has developed - particularly the volunteer one - has expanded the footprint of the community to embrace empowering the volunteer voice in a way we all want to see in our online communities.  Obviously, this is a high end community when it comes to price tag, but I believe you get what you pay for when you use it.
